Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what personal information I collect when you visit adamtallamy.com, sign up for my newsletter, book a call or work with me, and how I look after it.
1. Who I am
This website is run by Adam Tallamy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10918161), registered office Baytree Cottage, Rookery Park Golf Club, Beccles Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 8HJ, England. In this policy, “I”, “me” and “my” mean Adam Tallamy Ltd. I am the “controller” of your personal information under UK data protection law.
Contact: adam@adamtallamy.com, or by post to the registered office above.
2. The information I collect
Information you give me:
- Your name and email address when you join my newsletter or ask for free downloads.
- Your name, email address, phone number and any notes you add when you book a discovery call or taster session.
- Anything you send me through the contact form, by email, by phone or by WhatsApp.
- If you become a coaching client: information you choose to share during our sessions, which may include details about your life, work, relationships, feelings or health, plus billing details.
Information collected automatically when you use the site:
- Pages you visit, how long you stay, the links and buttons you click, the type of device and browser you use, and your approximate location (city or country level). This comes from cookies and similar tools. See section 6.
3. How I use your information, and why I am allowed to
- To reply to your messages and arrange calls and sessions. (Taking steps at your request before a contract, and my legitimate interest in replying to you.)
- To provide coaching and run my business, including invoices and records. (Contract, and legal obligations such as tax records.)
- To send you my newsletter, new blog posts and free downloads. (Your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.)
- To understand how the site is used and improve it. (Your consent where the law requires it, otherwise my legitimate interest.)
- Health or similar sensitive information you share during coaching: I only use it to coach you, with your explicit consent, and I keep it strictly confidential.
I never sell your personal information. I do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
4. Confidentiality
Everything we discuss in coaching is strictly confidential. A standard non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is included in my terms of business, and I am happy to sign a more detailed NDA if you would like one. I will only share what you tell me if the law requires it, or if I believe someone is at serious risk of harm.
5. Who I share it with
I use trusted service providers to run the site and my business. They only use your information to provide their service to me:
- SiteGround (website hosting).
- Google Analytics and Google Fonts (site statistics and fonts).
- Flodesk (newsletter and email sign-ups).
- TidyCal (booking calls and sessions).
- Trustindex (shows my Google reviews on the site).

- WhatsApp (if you choose to message me that way).
- Google Meet (online sessions).
- My bank, and any payment provider I use to take payments.
- My accountant, and professional advisers where needed.
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States or other countries outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK-US Data Bridge or the Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. I use them to make the site work, to count visits and see which pages are useful, and to remember your cookie choices. Where the law requires it, I only use non-essential cookies if you agree.
You can read more in our Cookie Policy .
7. How long I keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Enquiries and booking details from people who do not become clients: up to 2 years.
- Client records and session notes: for the length of our work together and up to 6 years afterwards, then deleted. Financial records: 6 years, as UK tax law requires.

8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask me to:
- tell you what personal information I hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop or limit how I use it, or object to my using it;
- send it to you or another provider in a common format;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything done before).
Email adam@adamtallamy.com. I will reply within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not happy with how I have handled your information, please tell me first and I will do my best to put it right. You can also complain to a data protection authority:
- UK: the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
- EU and EEA: the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
- Elsewhere, for example Canada, Australia or New Zealand: your national privacy regulator.
United States: depending on the state you live in (for example California, Colorado, Virginia or Texas), you may have the right to know what I collect, to access, correct or delete it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioural (targeted) advertising. If that ever changes, I will update this policy first and add a clear “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link, and I honour the Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser. You can use your rights by emailing me; an authorised agent can also contact me for you.
Wherever you live, if your local law gives you more rights than this policy describes, I will respect them.
9. Children
This site and my coaching are for adults aged 18 and over. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Keeping your information safe
The site uses a secure (https) connection, and I limit who can access your information. No system is completely secure, but I take sensible steps to protect it and will tell you and the authorities if a serious breach ever affects you, as the law requires.
11. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Important changes will be made clear on this page.
